The evening after England’s defeat to Croatia in the World Cup semi-final, SPR members consoled themselves at the SPR Summer Drinks, held once again on the covered terrace at Balls Brothers, Hay’s Galleria.

Thanks are due to Real Capital Analytics, who not only sponsored the copious supply of wine, beer and canapés, but also the Gin Infusion Masterclass, which had a second outing after proving popular at last year’s event. Members took their gin to a new level by combining it with fruit, herbs or botanicals to create a bespoke flavour, then adding this to the right tonic for their creation.
