SPR Seminar: Grid Capacity

Join us for his interesting seminar on Grid capacity at Knight Frank on 14 March.

As the UK attempts to accelerate the decarbonisation of the economy in order to meet its net zero objectives, the need for greater electrification of buildings, infrastructure and vehicles is increasingly apparent. But how well placed is the UK’s National Grid in terms of being able to deal with the exponential increase in electricity demand? Are bottlenecks in supply already emerging? And how will this impact different real estate sectors and buildings?

Chair:
Lucy Greenwood, Director – Residential Research, Savills

Panellists:
Marija Simpraga, Infrastructure Strategist, LGIM Real Assets
Michael Lock, Associate Director, Savills Energy
